Fall Workshop

October 16, 2021 | 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Our Presenter this year is Kate Eakman.  Kate holds an MA in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill along with graduate work in history and education from Immaculata University, Lewis and Clark College, and Seattle Pacific University.  She has been practicing genealogical research since she was in grade school, collecting family stories and photographs of 200-year-old family graves in various states.

Saturday morning presentations are:  "Will the Real John J. Hyland Please Stand Up?  (using thorough research, conflict resolution and some outside-the-box thinking to uncover the right information about the right person), Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh My!, (using the shaking leaves on Ancestry)  and "Secrets of the Census (from a former Enumeration District Supervisor)".  You can click here to access the registration form for more information on topics, schedules and costs. You can also print and fill out the form and either mail it to the library with a check or come into the library in person to register.
