     This is the book "Honor Roll of Yakima County, Washington", published by F. C. Whitney & Sons, Yakima, Wa, about 1920. It includes those associated with Yakima County who served in the Armed Forces during World War I. The book has a brief listing of the individuals with date and place of birth, parents, and dates of service. Some listings include additional information about places of service, battles, names of ships, etc. The majority have small photos on opposite page. There are approximately 1,940 men and 21 women in the index. Each page has 20 individuals listed by number and the opposite page has 20 photos with corresponding numbers as a key. Note: Those listed on page #'s 132-143, part of 184, and 186-188 do not have photos.

CLAUDE E. CRUMB
Private, Co. A, 5th Btn., 20th Engineers; son of Mrs. Lutie Brownell, Kelso, Wash.; born June 3, 1896 McMinville, Ore.; entered service Oct. 5, 1917; overseas, March, 1918; stationed in Charleston, S. C.
