The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.  Following the business portion of the meeting Barbee Buchanan will be giving a presentation on the Works Progress Adminsitration (WPA). During the depression most of us had a relative or two that was employed by the WPA. A lot of the projects that the WPA worked on were of a genealogical nature. These ranged from collecting oral histories to doing inventories of county records to compiling large collections of cemetery records. Come and hear about how some of these important sources may help you with your family research. Raffle tickets will be sold for a wide selection of items.  Normally the meeting is over by 12:00 p.m.
